This site contains many poetry resources, and invites participation. It has a particular bias towards Japanese forms

All the details of this important and lively festival.

The Alsop Review
This is a fine production, with a very high quality of poetry. British readers beware: this site contains the entire text of James Kirkup's "The Love that Dares to Speak its Name" which is banned in the UK. But it's clearly marked, so you can easily avoid it.

Alt-X Publishing Network
A very good quality and innovative literary magazine.

Lynx: Poetry from Bath
This site contains the poetry of a number of excellent poets (including Dorothy Nimmo), and has a bias towards the West Country of England. There are also discussions on a variety of aspects of poetry.

Bright and informative site containing details of Farrago's poetry events and slams.

Peter Finch is a tireless innovator, and his web site demonstrates that amply. Try his hypertext references to RS Thomas for something rather different...

The Poetry Society
The Poetry Society is the UK's premier organisation devoted to promoting poetry and poets. Their site contains much information about them, and the Web based initiatives they are undertaking.
