Poetry Live and Broadcast Torriano visits the Global Café On 14th and 21st December 1998, John Rety of Hearing Eye Publications and the Torriano Poetry Readings, and Peter Howard organised an experiment in Internet Poetry Broadcasting. Using facilities, technical expertise, and excellent coffee provided by a group of poets broadcast a reading over the Internet via RealAudio. Some of the poems read are reproduced here. Most of the winter solstice readings now have RealAudio recordings (though at rather low level). Click on the speaker icons to hear the poets reading their work.
